Fuel economy is horrible !!!!!!!!?
Ok guys, I have a 'Cuda with a population 68,360. My question may one of these problems is the reason why only get 6 miles per gallon! # 1 I do not have a blank line will transport to a nipple hydrates carbon?? and I do not even know what it is?? # 2 I have a large volume of the fuel pump that could be ?????? # 3 I Holley Avenger 670 of a street with 70 planes, so it's a big eater fuel?? I thought it would get at least double-digit miles per gallon ?????? Tho # 4 the link kickdown really wacked and I know if its right, which is very late, which means that when I'm running 35 mph in urban areas and does not change speeds of Highway 40 and the motors are high speed all the time which consumes more fuel?? If anyone has comments on things to help stimulate ECONOMY know me !!!!!!
Answers: 1. The vacuum line goes to the vacuum modulator transmission to tell the transmission when the shift. 2. The high volume pump fuel could contribute a little to the poor mileage, but probably not. 3. There are only carbohydrate lot here for a 360 engine if the engine has a lot of mods. 500 cubic feet per minute is fine for a stock engine. 4. ?? Not a high mileage Plymouth begin. I collect lots of "muscle" cars by 71 to 67. Dodge and Plymouth were the worst in the fuel of my collection to hire. Correct the problem transmission and the jump distance. Accelerate the engine until it kills the MPG. you should get about 14 MPG on condition of populations.
