Waterproof housing exterior door?
I have a basement door outside is subjected to flood water up to 3 "above threshold, because of the degree. How do I find the opening to the outside door close with water to replace it? Elevation the sill is one thing and another is to have an open door to the outside or closed with hidden hinges that can not be used to remove the door from the outside (security). I asked several window and door contractors in this regard and have no idea how to meet this requirement!
The only thing I suggest, assuming that the device is in a block poured concrete or opening a "brake" on the door. We hope that `ll have enough space to raise the overhead unit. If you can not cut up the door or a custom format. If you order a new unit, an overshoot is usually provided with NRP or locking hinges. If you order a custom size could consider stainless steel hinges, if water is a much of a problem.
